Modular frame for cables with and without connectors

The DES 24M splittable frame allow up to 40 cables with or without connector or one or two cables up to 35mm diameter to pass through electric cabinet or machines walls. The small and big grommets can be freely positioned inside the frame.

DES 24M represents the base frame for DES24MX modular solution which allow limitless cables to be routed in any cabinet/machine.

The DES cable grommet system is the ideal solution for cable management by allowing the routing of headed cables, pre-wired cables, connected cables and corrugated cables inside electrical panels,electrical equipment and machines. Thanks to the openable grommets it is possible to accommodate a large number of cables of several diameters in the same frame. This is possible thanks to a DetasUltra patent that allows the grommets to be positioned and slide freely within the frame. It will thus be possible, for example, to run multiple types of headed and unheaded cables, corrugated conduits and others through the same frame. The frame includes two V2A (SS304) steel screws and two nuts overmolded into the piece also made of steel but with a black geomet finish.

The DES splittable frames product family is made of chemically bonded glass fibre reinforced polypropylene, specifically designed for applications requiring high rigidity and mechanical resistance even at high temperatures. The chemical bond between Polypropylene and glass fibre guarantees high impact resistance, improved mechanical properties and greater resistance to detergents and chemical agents.

Fastening of the grommet strip to the board or panel is done with screws or rivets. Upon request, we supply screws for fastening, again made of stainless steel but with a black geomet finish. Alternatively, you can use the "Snap" quick coupler for greater mounting flexibility.

DES 24M & DES 24MX

The modular DES 24M and DES 24MX frames are designed as modular solutions for cable management for routing large number of any kind of cables in machines, panels or cabinets.

The basic model DES 24M can accommodate up to 40 cables thanks to the use of multiple grommets. Bigger cable sizes from 18 up to 35mm diameter can be routed thanks to the SPG inserts and can be freely installed in the desired position.

The two parts of the divisible DES 24M frame are closed together with two side screws which need only few cm to be screwed, allowing the close assembly of multiple frames.

The DES 24M divisible frame becomes modular with the addition of a simple accessory. It becomes then the DES 24MX  available in MX2, MX3, MX4, MX5, etc., etc. A cable entry solution in a single block for considerable savings in time and space. Each new model doubles the quantity of the cables that can be accommodated in the frame.

Because of the flexibility and  modularity of this solution, it is possible to consider the DES 24MX series for general cable entry in complex power cabinets. Once assembled the cabinet is protected by water, dust, dirty and it guaranteees the strain relief function.
