Divisible cable entry system  frame for cables with and without connectors

The DES 24 cable entry system solution consists of a splittable frame designed to accommodate small (SPP), multiple (X) and big (SPG) grommets for cables with and without connectors from 2 to 35mm diameter.
The overmolded gasket guarantees faster installation times and the complete V0 self-estinguishing of the system.

The opening grommets can be freely positioned within the frame. IP66 or NEMA 4X protection can be achieved with any combination of grommets (single, double, quadruple, pierceable, large).

The DES cable grommet system is the ideal solution for cable management by allowing the passage of headed cables, pre-wired cables, connected cables and corrugated cables inside electrical panels, electrical equipment and machines. Thanks to openable grommets, also known as cable grommet supports, it is possible to accommodate a large number of cables whose maximum diameter depends on the flexibility of the cables. This is possible thanks to a DetasUltra patent that allows the grommets (also known as cable grommet supports) to be positioned and slide freely within the frame. It will thus be possible, for example, to run multiple types of headed and unheaded cables, corrugated and others through the same frame. The frame or grommet strip includes two V2A (SS304) steel screws and two nuts co-molded into the piece also made of steel but with a black geomet finish.

The DES split frames product family is made of chemically bonded glass fibre reinforced polypropylene, specifically designed for applications requiring high rigidity and mechanical resistance even at high temperatures. The chemical bond between Polypropylene and glass fibre guarantees high impact resistance, improved mechanical properties and greater resistance to detergents and chemical agents.

Fastening of the grommet strip to the board or panel is done with screws or rivets. Upon request, we supply screws for fastening, again made of stainless steel but with a black geomet finish. Alternatively, you can use the "Snap" quick coupler for greater mounting flexibility.

DES 24

Standard 24-pin multipole connector openings are used for attaching DES 24 to the panel. DES 24 consists of two parts inside which can be accommodated 10 small grommets (cable grommet holders) or 2 large and 2 small grommets or a multiple combination of grommets. Thanks to the multi-hole grommets, it is possible to have as many as 40 cables pass through the wall in a very small space. IP66/NEMA4X degree of protection is achieved with any combination of grommets (single, double, quadruple, breakthrough, large).

The system satisfies the self-extinguishing class UL94V0 for the frame and for the grommets(grey and black).
