Divisible cable entry system frame for cables with and without connectors
The DES 10 divisible frame allows the routingof headed and unheaded cables with diameters from 2 to 35 mm due to the various cable grommet supports available. The side closure of the frame allows strain relief, dust and water protection.
Openable grommets can be freely placed inside the frame. IP66 or NEMA4X degree of protection is achieved with any combination of grommets (single, double, quadruple, breakthrough).
The overmolded gasket and thus the complete V0 self-extinguishing capability of the system make the DES series a unique product.

The DES cable grommet system is the ideal solution for cable management by allowing cables with connectors, pre-wired cables and corrugated cables to be routed through electrical panels,electrical equipment and machines. Thanks to the openable grommets it is possible to accommodate a large number of cables of several diameters in the same frame. This is possible thanks to a DetasUltra patent that allows the grommets to be positioned and slide freely within the frame. It will thus be possible, for example, to run multiple types of headed and unheaded cables, corrugated conduits and others through the same frame. The frame includes two V2A (SS304) steel screws and two nuts overmolded into the piece also made of steel but with a black geomet finish.
The DES splittable frames product family is made of chemically bonded glass fibre reinforced polypropylene, specifically designed for applications requiring high rigidity and mechanical resistance even at high temperatures. The chemical bond between Polypropylene and glass fibre guarantees high impact resistance, improved mechanical properties and greater resistance to detergents and chemical agents.
The rear gasket is co-molded into the frame and thus does not require application of additional separate gaskets. Fastening of the grommet strip to the frame or panel is done with screws or rivets. On request we supply screws for fastening, again in stainless steel but with a black geomet finish. Alternatively, quick couplers can be used for greater mounting flexibility.
DES 10
Standard 10-pin multipole connector openings are used to attach DES 10 to the panel. The DES 10 consists of two parts inside which can be accommodated 6 small grommets (cable grommet holders) or 1 large and 2 small grommets or a multiple combination of grommets. Thanks to the multi-hole grommets, it is possible for as many as 24 cables to pass through the wall in a very small space. IP66/NEMA4X degree of protection is achieved with any combination of grommets (single, double, quadruple, breakthrough, large).
The system satisfies the self-extinguishing class UL94V0 for the frame and for the grommets(grey and black).
