Divisible cable entry system frame for cables with and without connectors
The divisible DES Q cable entry system solution consists of a splittable frame designed to accommodate small (SPP), multiple (X) and big (SPG) grommets for cables with and without connectors from 2 to 35mm diameter. The overmolded gasket guarantees faster installation times and the complete V0 self-estinguishing of the system.
The opening grommets can be freely positioned within the frame. IP66 or NEMA 4X protection can be achieved with any combination of grommets (single, double, quadruple, pierceable, large).

The DES cable grommet system is the ideal solution for cable management by allowing the passage of headed cables, pre-wired cables, connected cables and corrugated cables inside electrical panels,electrical equipment and machines. Thanks to the opening grommets,also known as cable grommet supports, it is possible to accommodate a large number of cables even with large diameters. This is possible thanks to a DetasUltra patent that allows the grommets (also known as cable grommet supports) to be positioned and slide freely inside the frame. It will thus be possible, for example, to run cables from 2 to 35 mm in diameter through the same frame. The frame or grommet strip includes two V2A (SS304) steel screws and two nuts co-molded into the piece also made of steel but with a black geomet finish.
The DES split frames product family is made of chemically bonded glass fibre reinforced polypropylene, specifically designed for applications requiring high rigidity and mechanical resistance even at high temperatures. The chemical bond between Polypropylene and glass fibre guarantees high impact resistance, improved mechanical properties and greater resistance to detergents and chemical agents.
The rear gasket is co-molded into the frame and thus does not require application of additional separate gaskets. Fastening of the grommet strip to the frame or panel is done with screws or rivets. On request we supply screws for fastening, again in stainless steel but with a black geomet finish. Alternatively, quick couplers can be used for greater mounting flexibility.
DES Q
Standard 46x46 openings are used to attach DES Q to the panel. The DES Q consists of two parts inside of which 4 small grommets (cable grommet holders) or 1 large grommet can be accommodated. Thanks to the multi-hole grommets, it is possible for as many as 16 cables to pass through the wall in a very small space. IP66/NEMA4X degree of protection is achieved with any combination of grommets (single, double, quad, breakthrough, large).
The system satisfies the self-extinguishing class UL94V0 for the frame and for the grommets(grey and black).
